sounds good, you just want something that can handle the waste. But your fine with the filter your things of.

filter wise... im planning a DIY 55g sump maybe 2. with a 1200gph pump...i might put a UV sterilizer but not sure... im trying to keep it as affordable as i can get it.... from this point i have only spent 20 dollars.... thats some of the wood ( most of it was givin to me) screws, and PVC piping... i had the liner for a while now.... i had it for a ground pond but didnt have luck... so im using it for this pond... i hope i have better luck..

The UV sterilizer is a good investment, it will save you the trouble of algae, and other harmful or bothering stuff, and save you money on chemicals & other related items. And $20 so far your doing ****ing good as hell, so since your building it your saveing monry on own labor, that should have plenty to spend on the filter and other things, but go for the things that you really need and put the money in there. In the end you will be happy with the result in the long run.

i covered the inside with fake hardwood planks that are meant to inmitate hardwood flooring.... they are meant for bathrooms for screw it i used them.. came out pretty nice..

here i move the pond to a spot i might have the pond set up for a while... it gets 50/50 sunlight.... and to make the back yard look kinda nice... but this is temporary spot..

as of filtration... im using my old sump pump (400gph) and used 3/4" pvc... the inlet is on one side and the outlet is on the other side. the DIY sump is a 25g Rubbermaid tub, consisting stack able CD holders to separate the mesh and scrubbies.... i haven't bought the scrubbies but first thing in the morning in with be at walmart.... lol....

To heat this pond im going to use 1- 300watt jebo heater, and a 250watt whisper heater... 550 watts of heating.... not bad...

since here in whitter, home depot or lowes..... when i asked for bulkheads they gave me the dumb look... i was ohmy and they consider themselves """specialist""" luckily one guy had idea wat was i talking about but he knows them as bungs... :) ohmy... well i went to a local fish store and their bulkheads are like 30 bucks for an 1 1/2" bulkhead!!! i was like oh hell no... (sorry about saying hell) so i went back to home depot, i made my own bulkheads... with some putty and rubber gaskets i make some leak-proof bulkheads... sweet..

Now im waiting on cycling to really start it off.. i got some goldies to cycle and a few plecos...

well thats it... any concerns or comments feel free to leave a good comment no bad comments plz.. i spent money and time to finish and end up someone giving crap for something i worked hard for... thanks anyways

:D
