sorry...he is in the 75 now and even that is very much teporary. i wont even be able to house him in my 180. it will give me a reason to go tank shopping again though! :naughty:

growout tanks are fine. you just need to realize they are not longterm homes and the fish will need a larger one.

i was in your shoes before. my parents would have died if i had all my fish and tanks at their house. of course they think my fish are awesome now that i dont live there. just be patient.
 
well my dad loves my fish he wants me to get a big fish tank!!! lol he had one before i was born he had a 240g tank but it cracked when a stupid arowana was chasing a goldfish and hit his head on the glass and water went all over the place lol

i think that is y they dont want me to get many fish tanks in their house

an arowana hit the inside of the tank and caused the glass to crack on a 240g??? :confused:
 
i think that is a slight fib. i have heard many tales of people fish breaking tanks though...so who knows.
 
no i swear on my it happened i was not born but we used to have the fish tank in our basement it was already leaking so all the aro had to do was put a nice hit right to that spot

yeah all the fish did that was the only tank he had!!!!!
