It is so weird how one fish can change the whole set up in the pecking order.. i just added a female jag and that helped the tank become docile... because the bully {believe it or not} venustus male.... ruled both sides of the tank... now everyone feels free to swim back and forth.. jag on one side and venustus on the other.. your fish are gorgeous beyond words.. and the photos light or no light are stunning..

WOH your mota's got some hump there! Where'd you get him from?

The person I got it from said he ordered it from Jeff Rapps. I got this fish when it was a 2 to 3 inches.

You need to have both. Sometimes I get bored looking at the solo tanks and vice versa.

Rapps is a good source. I have a smaller breeding pair in another tank. The pair has swimming fry right now.
