We should all meet up and go camping and fishing and have a good old time. I like debating. Its fuuuuuuuuuunn!!!!

Im down for that. I live in florida, a five minute walk from the beach!

As for my womans pierced tongue, I was 19 when I first met her, what do yall think was on my mind! :naughty: But again that proved my point of how initial impressions based on looks can be wrong. And boy was I wrong, what they say about pierced tongues isnt always true. :(

100% correct, but what about the "beginning" of the day? Having stretched ear lobes doesnt hinder your performance (maybe unless you work around machinery! ) but it can hinder your chance to prove yourself.

not me, i hate stretched ears. Im just saying i know people. But to answere your question, yes and no. Most employers i know will give you the chance to prove your self. Especially since you can usually tell the first day whether someone is worth a **** or not

I will.

I dont have a problem with it personally. I'd probably try to stick different things in them....that sounded weird.

What I said about serving food was regarding my potential customers. If anyone is serious about their business, especially in a competitive market, they are not going to turn away customers just because they wanted to hire some one with hip looking ear lobes.

My only or first serious negative experience was at a Gas Station. The women I handed my money to had this awful look on her face of extraordinary disgust..and also said out loud "OMG ew." I thought to myself.. did the girl next to her just poo and try to feed it to her? Because that is exactly what her face looked like. I was actually pretty annoyed. I mean, she was a middle aged woman working at a gas station.. not attractive what so ever..dressed very poorly. I could have been very mean if I wanted, but I just went on about my day. :irked:

I've had many people look at me in a amazement. I only ever get any attention from it when I wear hollow plugs with my hair up.. Or my sweet bling. The girl that does my eye brows (or used to) loved them. She'd flip every time I came in.. even put her finger thru them once. I get a lot of questions tho.. some pretty silly. It is what is...we likes what we likes. Who cares if we can't get certain jobs. I know I don't anyway.

No sorry, my business involves food, not many people are going to want to eat while being served by some one that has giant holes in their ears.

Look at it this way, there is NO ONE out there that wont eat because they are NOT being served by some one that has giant holes in their ears. But, even if there is just ONE person that doesnt eat at my restaurant because a server had giant holes in their ears, that is money I lose out on. Why hire some one that will make me lose money?

Tattoos are cool if they are covered up or not trashy. My wife and I both have tattoos. She is an RN working on her MSN at only 23. Haha when we met she even had her tongue pierced! Of course, she grew up too.

I've also had restaurant job experience with no issues. It's not like It a gapping wound or something. I have presentable ear rings I can wear. I have sweet ear rings for EVERY occasion. :D But i was only joking when I asked if I could work for you sir. I don't do the whole serving others thing well waitressing isn't my cup of tea. Although, I do like to cook. :)

I knew you were joking. Besides Im not open yet. Getting a loan is hard in this damn economy, so saving up as much scratch as possible. I hoping to be open by spring break as my business will be in Destin, Florida but at this rate I dont think I will make it. :(
