Just got home from buying 10 more lbs of live rock and 2 different corals :D

I can't find my camera right now, but when I do I'll add to the thread and post pics.
I went to my lfs and bought two frags, one green star polyp which is about 1 1/2 inches long, and one 2" rock with about 8 polyps of different zoas on it.
The zoas have already opened up, except for a couple of them, but they're on their way as well. The star polyp hasn't, and I'm not sure about placement. It didn't come attached to a rock, so I just placed it where it's sheltered from flow so it won't fall, but will it attach itself and go on its way? Or do I have to do something?

Answers would be great, and I'll go search for my camera...

First picture is a before pic. Taken a couple months after I had set it up. The next one was taken just a few minutes ago.
There are a couple of species of zoanthus on the first rock, which is placed at the top of the tank. One type is kind of a dimmed greenish colour all the way around, and the other is brown with a big orange dot in the middle. There are only two polyps of the brown ones, and about 8 of the green.
The second coral I got in the last picture is a nuclear green star polyp, which I love. It's just started to open out and it looks really good right now...
Give me your opinions and if I can improve anything :D

Oh, uhm don't mind the thumbnail pics ahahaha. They were pictures of my freshwater that didn't turn out very well. Don't know how they got there...

Thanks Flesh :D

Only thing I might do is get some more rock, drill the rock you have and try to get a bigger, more open rock scape.

+1, i was just told today by my lfs owner that he will let me buy a 38 gallon tank for 35 bucks so im going to be starting a tank similar to this soon! what kind of lighting and do you plan on putting any inverts or fish in?

It's actually kind of hard to do that. The most space I have in the tank in right in the middle which is just under 18 inches. Then of course it bows to 12 inches I think, so there's not much room for stacking rock in an...artistic way, I guess.
I will get some more though in due time, and eventually I'll transfer Killer to another tank and put in some nicer fish in this one.
Coral is looking good today, but the zoas have been closed a lot recently. Not sure why...

Break down your rock a little...a lot of that looks like pieces that I would use for bases...get yourself a crobar and go to work on that stuff.

I always thought that would create a lot of die off..?

Anyway, haven't added anymore rock yet, but I did get a pulsing xenia frag yesterday for $7, and it's about 4" tall, 2" wide maybe.
I also noticed a new polyp growing on my zoanthid rock, which I have moved down since I introduced it. I think the light was too strong, as the polyps were closed half of the time. Now they're open pretty much all the time and I must be doing something right if there's growth :D
Will get pics up soon.
