I am going to be getting this 3 years old no leaks hood light hob ug everything i need stand and everything just want to know if this is a good tank for flowerhorns never heard of a 65 before

Too small for Flowerhorns in the long term, let alone one. A 65 is just a 65G tank. Not ass common as the regular '55', but its just a number to define the gallonage it holds.

at least get something 48L 55gl or 60gl at least.

what do u mean??? there gettin a 65 that is bigger then all 3 tanks u listed

but it isn't as long. it is 12" shorter in length than the other tanks. a 48" tank is what you should be looking at for big ca/sa/hybrid cichlids.

No, a 65g is way too short to house a flowerhorn permanently.

just save the trouble and get a 125 gallon. 6foot long and 18 inches deep. there not that much more so if your going to make a hurdle for lowerhorns, might as well get the bigger tank.

so one flower horn would not fit in a 65 i have fry in my 20 and 29 the breeding pair in my 180 and i was buying a male rd and puuting it in the 65 by itself so you really thin it is that bad

Red Devils easily attain 14"+. A 65 is much to small for a single Red Devil. 90G minimum. Some may say 75G, but they do get bigger than 1 foot.
