put a pair of neets in there with some giant danios or bigger tetras for dithers. neets are little beasts!
no, dont get a BP for 2 reasons. one being there hybreds and 2nd being they need a 55 min for one

blood parrots like most parrots need a 55 min. they can grow up to a foot easly. and i didnt say theres anything wrong with hybreds ( heck raised my moms BP after she died and final growth before i gave him to a nursing home was a foot. )
and if they needed a 30 gallon min that would mean i could do 4 in my 112 ( which would overstock me ) but then again i wont get them anymore.
wait a 55 is pushing it for a foot long cichlid, a 75 would be much better and you can have 2 in a 75 but this isnt about that, its about what the OP wants and needs ideas that wont out grow a 37 gallon.
