I got some more work done on my stand. I finished one of the columns, still working on the other one. Here are some pictures of the finished column. I still need to sand, countersink a few of the nails, and apply wood filler, but the construction is finished.

Here is a picture looking down on the column. I plan on putting a 1/4" thick piece of oak trim along the top to hide this part.
