:nilly: What a weekend :nilly:

On Saturday, I made the 400 mile round trip to pick up a 380 Gallon Acrylic (8'x2'x3'2"). This tank will eventually be for my Red Bellied Pacu (among others) and will get setup in about a year when I buy a house.

We had 4 guys moving the tank out of the house, down the sloped driveway, and into the truck. The tank is enormous and weights about 500 pounds with its 1" thick sides. On the flip side, I wised up and bought a few dolly's. All I can say is that it was a wise choice considering it took us over an hour to load it (without dolly's) and about 15 minutes to unload it (with dolly's).

Here are some pictures of the tank sitting in my basement.

Here is Pacu, his name is "Nibbler" - and yes that is definitely a Futurama reference :headbang2

Another, with my barbs and poly senegallus (spelling?)

Still trying to figure out my new camera so the pic's are a little crappy and I may need to clean the front glass :D

It will be a long road to get this thing setup, but I am excited about the process and can't wait to see it done (is it every really "done"?).

that's a giant bulkhead in the overflow.

Thanks.
I just couldn't pass it up even though I don't need it for a year.

Good Show! I'm sure the tank will be beautiful when put up! Seems like you still have a lot of engineering to do on it to get it feesh ready. Good luck!

:screwy: (Still a little crazy - but in a good way)
