World Line Class Records are going to be harder to beat but not impossible.
If you are going to attempt this, make sure you have a digital scale and have it certified by IGFA, and use ANDE mono. Most lines as in 90% on the market, test higher than the rated poundage. 2lb test Berkley test over 3lbs for me 2 years ago which is why I didnt get the World Record then for the 43lb grass carp on caught on the so called 2lb test. You also need to join IGFA each year, recertify the scale each year unless you know someone that has a certified scale you can use theirs.
