Does anyone know of any vendors that can build 3D backgrounds for tanks larger than 125 gallons. Oh have 3D BD's that can be customized to fit much larger aquariums. I have tried Designs by Nature, and Aqua Terra. The problem I have run into is though its possible to link a few together to get the required 120 inches in lenght, its the 44 to 48 inches in height that I am lacking. They all seem to stop at around 24inin height. I am still hoping Design by Nature can work with me but the owner has not returned my calls or emails. Anyone know if any other vendors out there or have any ideas other than creating my own, which If i could I would have already, especially considering if I had to buy 4 from designs by nature it would cost a pretty penny.

I got it figured out!

Aquascape has some I believe

Mind sharing with us what you sorted out? I am curious as well since the tallest BG I have been able to find is 36".
Not really figured it out, but I have a plan to to modify two pieces to make it fit, but I am okay with that. I will just have to get creative. The issues was finding some 3D pieces that would give me the best chance at doing that, so after pestering Matt, at Design by nature lol, we came up with the best pieces for creating one larger piece to fit, that's all.

Cool, makes sense, tell him Justin says hi. Haven't talked to those guys in a while. I would love to find a nice way to blend 96" wide!

Will do and i will post pic of my sucess if it goes right or my failure if it is messed up,lol

I screwed up 1 of the first 4 BG's I installed, it's important to post fails too so others don't repeat. I posted my fails too, I like your style!

thanks, I hate to waste money and to fail at something, so if I can prevent anyone else from doing the same I will. But how did you mess up your first BG?

In arlington,tx there is a pond supply house (the retail end is called The Pond Shop)that manufactures artificial rockwalls and waterfalls and had a full line of bg types of sheets. Very nice looking. Zoo type designs polyformed with granite dust exterior. If you buy from retail side a 4x8 sheet was around $700, wholesale it depends on how much you're buying my koi display in my old store cost around $400 a sheet. When installing more than one sheet they had filler "stones" that made it look seamless.
