Awesome work guys.

Which Fish spots did you hit on your trip around town?

We didn't go to any fish spots. Just my house... guess that is a fish spot. :screwy:

Looks good J.. Those seams are the best I've done yet. Waaay better than my tanks I'm jealous, you can't even see them. Once that silicone cures and you get the foam carved it will look like a whole new tank.

Thanks Justin... I think silicone in the seams and pond foam on the outer edges is the way to go for sure.

Are those bar towels I see in the bottom right side of your tank? What are there purpose for being there? Soaking up excess moisture from the sand? Curiousity got the better of Garfield, today.

No PVC pipe, eh? Good idea. I never did like them much myself. As far as aquascaping I think I'll have to send you a "Paint" picture with some ideas, similar to JK47's but instead of a front view, it will be a top view. A type of graphic issustration will speaks volumes, I think, so . . . does that sound good to you? I hope it does as I have a few in mind, but will not bog your mind with all of them at once. Also ,do you want to use a CO2 system in this tank or not?

No, that's a ghetto plastic bag that was holding sand that SOMEONE assured me wasn't in the pictures he took with his camera. :grinno:

Here is another tank with the same background and their aquascaping:

I don't like it very much. It's also a smaller tank than my 125...

I am not going to run co2 at this time. I am familiar with the benefits of co2 as I run a pressurized system on my 33 gallon, but that's just not in the cards for this tank.

Jeff:
Did you recieve my e-mail from earlier today? What do you think and feel about the diagram? I wasn't sure if you wanted braod leaved or slender leaved plants, so I went with my gut feelings. If you want something different with a greater variety of plants, I could do one with 35 different type of plants. Bad thing is it's really heavily planted and the BG would not be seen. OOPS! Wrong idea. Let me know what you think. ~David

Thanks for doing that for me. I'm thinking of going with at least some swords too. I have a big healthy compacta sword already. I think you got the basic scape right... Two areas of plants, one to the left and the other to the right of the stump. Still gotta figure out clown loach caves.

PVC pond foam project!! :naughty: We have to! Also I don't know if you were aware I had this cave, but it's all yours free if you want it. LMK.. That's your plant goo (that's working BTW) in the pic for size reference.

Yeah you tried to pawn your cave off on me before! That needs to go in your 125. I can't use it because the sharp edges could cut my idiot loaches.
