I've gotten to print out a couple parts on one of those at school a few times as projects, they're pretty cool, but not cheap or fast. The one we have isn't the most precise either, so if you were trying to make a prototype you would have to set different tolerances than as the part it's self

For the home user that's rather expensive, however on the corporate level that's not bad at all for what this thing can do.
