3M color quartz, anyone using other colors besides black, tan or white?

Well the local guy near me has white, black, blue and buff, so I'm leaning twards black.

wish I could see what black mixed with buff looked like.

The other colors drown out the black really fast when mixed.

I did a 55g in black it came out looking just *ok* its all personal preference though. Just wash it very well with hot water, even after all the washing I did this color still left some kind of scum on the aquarium water.

it's $30 a bag local for the black, white, buff or blue.

I think I could get any color for $40 shipped.


Then I think I would get plum.
Maybe mix plum with smoke?

wow, the ones I've gotten so far were from like $19-$21 a bag. Still not bad for 50 pounds of NICE sand.
