I haven't used colorquartz, but both my 75s have black sand I got off ebay in them. I used less than 50 lbs in each tank. I used the rest in my planted 29.

yeah I don't know if that's the exact one I saw a while ago bit it works...good price for it shipped I think. I tried to call some of the places off the 3m site and they wanted like 30 a bag and then like 50 per bag to ship it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! So I called to order my bags of black s grade from this place and they are out...and are not getting anymore because they are not selling it anymore!! Ahhh man!!! So where can I get it from now.....

Just got 300 lbs of white T grade for a future tank.

I've pre-rinsed well, water ran very clear. Added to NEW tank (75g) and I'm always left (2 weeks now) with black residue line at level I stop my water change at.. repeated cleaning of line.. when will this stop (if it does)? Water is also still cloudy.
Suggestions please?
