I guess you could say that... Slightly bigger crystals... Still looks and feels like sand though. Heavier pieces, wont get sucked up in the vaccuum as easy.
Got any pics of your tank? I've been thinking of using sand and want to see what black sand looks like...What color/type of background you using?
I will soon... Waiting on my FX5 to arrive so I can get the tank going. Right now I only have the sand in it.
