3M sand, what color and grade to use

S-grade seems to adhere to fish poop like crazy if you don't have anything sifting through it like snails.

T-grade can be cleaned with a python gravel vac just like regular gravel. The particles are heavy enough not to get siphoned out.

you can also go with pool filter sand... its like 8 bucks for 50lbs, looks really good too and heavy enough to be cleaned with a siphon

Was thinking of that, so i decided to buy it and try it in a 10 and it is a weird tan color, it is just Ok. Here is a new conversation that sparked up that worries me.

Yes, it's 50 lbs.; I bought my S-grade Cayman Green from them.

So it isnt around anymore? Why did they discontiue it? Any idea were i can find remaining bags? I will end up going s grade then if it resembles sand more.

I spoke with a 3M rep. who said they discontinued it until the sales of pools increase. This was one of the key applications.
