he/she is only little at the mo @ 9inchesWell I am not too sure on the sex but I do know males tend to get alot bigger and more colorful than females. So if it is bigger than like a foot I would say most likely male. I am not a big pleco nut either so I couldn't tell you. Good luck with them all though.

p.s this pic was taken just B4 he was droped in2 my tank (did not get him out just to see how bighe is lol)
now all i have to do is get him eating, he will not take anythink bloodworm, pellets, prawn, flake, even put to cons in with him (1inch) and they look like they are going to be his tank mates.
