So, I'm trying to figure out what to put in this tank.
I want a good amount of movement, good color, and decent size.

I thought about doing fancy goldfish, like ryukins or shubunkins, As they have long fins, lots of colors, and are fairly active.

Also thought about discus, but this tank really isn't big enough for that in my opinion.

What I'd optimally like to have is a trio of fairly nice sized fish with good color, that are pretty active.
Suggestions?
:D

Tetras are nice, but very small.
I thought about gouramis maybe.

my congos are pushin 5"... or well.. were before i managed to kill half of them... lots and lots of movement

Any other recommendations for some medium sized fish?
I thought about doing a bunch of exodons, as they swim around a a lot, but not very much color.

the red was more red insted of copper before they died... and just so theres no confusion i am just eyeballing them tip to tip...

Sorry for the loss bro.

Congo tetras might work, Maybe a male sajica in with them.

Also, I'm fine with doing a single fish, as long as it is colorful and active.
I just want something interesting, lots of color and movement.

Comets are pushing it. How about ryukins? For a tank that size though, I'd keep only 2-3 ryukins. Can't hurt to try show quality guppies and snails. Both can live perfectly in hard alkaline water and coexist without too much issues.

Tetras, Barbs, Corys, Gouramis, Shrimp, Snails, Danios, Guppies, Mollies, Platies, Minnows, Hatches, Rasboras, Swordtails, Ect .

The list goes on for small/ medium, colourful size fish to go in a tank that size . It really depends on what you want .
