Hey Buddah, what were the setting used to shot that photo? That's a pretty good shot. Oh, by the way, the cam came in and will be picked up on Friday. Thank....
sweet, good to hear it made it :) shot this reverse lens, so all exposure and focus was done manually. i had ISO at about 320, and a fairly slow shutter speed, about 1/15th. i had the camera sitting on the counter so getting a clear shot wasnt too bad. and i shot this in raw/nef format :)

Very cool buddy .

Hey J,
Thanks for sharing. Please continue to do so when you go pro and shoot swimsuit/lingerie models!

I didn't know the D90 could do a reverse lens.

yeah it could be done on any camera, even did some on my d40. just take it off and hold it backwards lol. or you could get a reverse ring adapter on ebay, makes it a lot easier

I'm impressed you did that without the ring. I would have gone mad, trying to focus without the ring holding the lens in place.
lol not a chance! this was with my 50mm, which fits the 52mm ring i had ordered before. still waiting on the 72mm ring for my 18-200 :)

And I was proud of you for a moment there...LOL Just kiddin. Personally I've found the longer range lenses have been so much easier to achieve quick simple shots. I think you'll enjoy on the 18-200.

Are you getting those extension tubes?

yeah the cant get as close as id like with the 50mm for those super macro shots. yeah i ordered the cheapy one last night. if i ever get a dedicated macro lens i may spring for one of those kenko tubes. can you imagine a kenko tube and a 105mm reversed??? i think i'd be able to see the atomic bonds on most things
