There is only one species that gets that large, the Ethiopian. South American lungs can reach 4 feet, but three feet is average. A three footer will fit just fine in a 150 (I own one).

I'd keep the lungs solo until they are bigger than the bichir, they're fragile at that size.

My SAL passed 3 feet and it's 50" but still 150g should be fine.

And I agree with you any SAL that still have it's juvenile color (black with yellow speckles) is still in it's sensitive side.
