4" Dovii belly up

Cardiac Arrest. I believe that fish just like us humans can have these. Something happened to it, to where the stress and pain is so great "hence the gills up"
 
Same thing happened to my male Blue Acara a few months ago. Water was perfect, no signs of stress whatsoever... he bred with the female and found him dead the next morning, I still have no idea what happened... but someone here suggested cardiac arrest as well.
 
Yeah im stumped as well but at least dovii are cheap and i have a group of 12 F1 rio heridia at 1.5-2.5" that ill hook you up with hit me up if your interested:) and i have a male heavy group. Also im sorry about your mystery death good luck tho
 
Checked params again today. Zeros across the board. The tetras look ok (other then feeling lost with so much space!). And they have eaten twice. Guess ill have to just chalk it up to "one of those things" and look into getting a new fish. Thanks for your help everyone.
