also, can someone explain why it is that burundi are the "worst" fronts to have?
if i have a male and 2 females (my early guess / hope :)) what are the chances they will breed?
and was $15.88 too much to pay for each one?

price was fine, Burundi are not the worst. They are the easiest to come by, not front is bad. I would say burundi from your pic. 1m 2f is not bad, but would like another female. It will still be a bit before they breed. Burundi get the biggest humps. If at 4 inches they are all the same, I would guess they are all males. At this size you mainly come across males, as breeders thin the males from much larger groups.

I think you have some good looking Burundi type.

People say that about Burundi because they are easy to come by, easy to breed and they are cross bred alot so sometimes there quality isn't good.

I like them because of the large nuchal hump they get on there head.

Yep, burundi. They look like nice burundi too. Both the male and females should develop humps , but the alpha male should get it sooner compared to the other fronts in with him. Eventually another front may get a bigger hump than him but in the beggining i found that my alpha developed his first. He started hump development around 4 inches. It starts as the forehead kind of gets angular rather than rounded like a juvie then the hump follows shortly.

They look like burundi's to me. Give them patience and they'll grow to be beauties.
