I have only stripped eggs once, which Im not planning on doing for a number of reasons. However the female holding the longest about 14 days appeared to have fry. So I held her mouth open to see if any fry would come out, not attempting to get eggs. Well an almost developed fry shot out like lightning. (iv never seen them swim fast in that stage, with the egg sack on his belly) Last time I tumbled eggs I remember about a day or two after you see the spine, and Eyes emerge?
So he should have that sac absorbed by like tomorrow? Any thoughts?
I have him setup next to an air stone on VERY Low in a breeding net (which I am nervous about, the fry always want to get stuck between the plastic and the net.) However he swims VERY well for his huge beer belly
