4" large mouth bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i dont know what would be stopping larger growth, the temp has been at a const. 82F and have been feeding him only high quality foods. it isnt stress because he is the "bully" of the tank even tho his tankmates are larger than him haha. it myst be a male b/c its got huge b*lls when it comes to showing larger cichla whos tank it is

I have a 5" Lmb in a 36gallon up and running for about 3 weeks. The recently has started putting on size and girth since his feeding has nearly trippled. Depending on sex your bass might taper off before becoming a lunker. From what i understand females will pass 15" males usually dont. I keep my tank at 70 ish and with fall rolling in now the days arent warming the tank as it used to.

tank size is the factor that should also be in your formula fish will out grow tanks yes but after a while it stunts their growth

bass are awesome fish to keep especially when it comes to feeding time nothing beats a big bass swallowing its prey LOL but be prepared with a huge tank and towels on the floor when feeding as back when i had bass (LONG time ago lol) they assisted with the draining part of the water change process fairly well at feeding time LMAO
