Hey all, got my 4 new 3 inch reds today having had the tank up and cycled for 4 days prior. the set up is:

71 Gal tank 125cmx40cmx54cm

Fluval 305 filter

Fluval M 300 heater

currently stocked with only fake platns due to shipping eorrors but more hides coming soon aswell as a 2500 powerhead.

Yeah, due to a shipping error they came a week early and the LFS wouldn't keep them so i had to either pick them up or loose my deposit :(
 
Beautiful little darlings you got there and it looks like they have some nice red there on them already! Going to be amazing toothy pets when they grow up!

Couple of quick questions for the P community.

1: is it ok to run x2 aqua glow tank bulbs if the tank has suitable cover? if not could i just remove one of the bulbs?

2: Their deit currently consits of mixing up feeds with either bloodworms, cichlid pellets, whitebait, white fish fillets like cod tapila, king prawn and squid rings possibly do one beef heart feed a month as a treat? is this diet varied enough to promote good growth and colour?

3: For schedual wise, im planning on doing 30% water changes ever week on the the saturday, so far the tank has no algae on the glass whatso ever so would this be a decent rate to change water?
 
Got some new decor today, with one live bunch of elodea. Still waiting on a couple more pieces of decor in the post...
