I wonder what the rest of the spawn looked like.

I think this is a one of a batch.Now just hope for fertility and breed back with female ZZ that is very pearly with good kok gene.Very nice US breed for sure

nice colour, red eye, should be fertile..
But the body is very long..
i would cross with a pearly shortbody ZZ if possible..
or even a red tex will keep the red there and bring out some pearl..
anyway.. good luck with the future breeding.. its good to see people have a go..
