Whether or not a datnoid is eating has nothing to do with it being stable. Its all about how good the datnoid looks i.e. if the base is gold with nice solid black bars. Your datnoid's base looks darkish brown. Take a look at the datnoid in my avatar, now thats stable.

Both of your pics are not a stable datnoid...if he is EVER like he is in either pic that is NOT stable...a stable dat is ALWAYS stable...and just because he eats that is not stable.
