40-45cm GATF tank mates?

Surprised to see small ATF (VATF?) in the first video in the OP with far larger ATF (both GATF?). I'd fear they may get munched even if feeding well.

I just moved my red aro to the tank.. he is about 37cm, and the GATF is about 45cm...

So yay or nay of mixing GATF with aro?

A friend had a 12” bbxb (30cm) with a 16” GATF (42cm), and the aro constantly kept harassing the Goliath. The Goliath got pissed one day and took out a chunk of the aro. I’d be careful mixing the two. he had to separate them eventually.

For GATF, it's "harassing then gone" for me. I won't mix GATF with anything that could harm it even in the slightest way, because that thing will either stressed GATF to not feeding or GATF got pissed one day and kill it. Right now my main tank only has 1 16" GATF and 3 6" Tinfoil Barbs. Even now and then the barbs got a huge bite on their bodies but still live through it. This fish need to be kept alone unless you have a pond IMO.
