Nice build......... You could ad some holes at the top of your sock holder so if by chance you forget to clean the socks and it clogs up your water would go through the holes and bypass the socks keeping the water in the sump....

I'm not asking you to get rid of the anti geyser....... If your socks clog up... Where is the water going to go.....
I don't see a bypass for the water.... It will rise in the plexi sock holder you made and overflow....You have it siliconed up tight against the black trim...
lol... I gotta pay attention to who posts....tomomothy just said he likes the geyser.........
I was just saying i like the standing pipe with the cap that overflows to two socks..and I think antigeyser pioe has a ring to it. I could be alone in that lol

lol...I thought you were the original poster..... I think the geyser is neat also....but i sure wouldn't want it to overflow.....
After much trial and error, I did away with the pvc in the middle and put a T on the outlet and let it flow directly into the socks and am now using the 2 1/2" hole as an overflow in case the socks become clogged.
I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am that you showed this all step by step as I will be building and documenting my 29g sump and 55g drilling experience this coming week
