I plan on keeping a solo paratilapia polleni in the 40g breeder I am now setting up. This will be his final home, though if I can find a cheap 65g I may upgrade but it'll be the same footprint.
Thank you everyone for the help my lfs has 3.5 inch beanis for 35 a piece so definetly don't want them to kill each other, they also have same sized cubans for 18 a piece...as far as ebjd, I already have a male 5.5 inchs in a 29 gallon with a regular female jd that I'm trying to breed but the female isn't quite big enough yet...

He asked for "not common in the hobby" and they sure do wow people as he also wanted. Lol most people that come to your home and don't know anything about fish probably won't care how rare ur fish is I've had people prefer a parrot or goldfish over many rarer and oddball fish in my first tanks.
