just so everyone knows-the 20% off deal is for all tanks.doesnt matter what size as long as you got a pet smart card-which you can get and use at the register at the time of purchase.

I guess it just depends on what you plan on keeping, i got a 40 gallon breeder at petco when they had the dollar per gallon sale instead of the 55, but i kinda regret it be because id rather have a 55 for a malawi tank
 
i got the 40 breeder at petsmart full price, but i like it a lot better than a 55 because its wider. i would've loved to get a 40 at $100. Alternatively, you could get the 75 and have the best of both worlds (the 55's length and the 40b's width)
 
FYI guys the sale is on until the 26th of january. I'm gonna see if I cant get them to order in the largest tank they can get their hands on and gimme the deal...
 
I have a 40 breeder that i really like, for my money its better than a 55 because i dont really care for taller tanks, The 40 breeder is wider for better aquascaping, i like the look better, and it has more surface area which is good for areation. Dont know about the price though
