i like how the one poster said the 55 is like having the fish swim in a narrow hallway-thats what made the decision for me.the 40 is awesome I wish i could have gotten the 150 but the price was nuts.im on overload of tanks now and the wife is pissed i just bought a 40 but I really dont care.she can deal with it.Im happy

And absolutely agree with the 55 as narrow hallway tanks. I love my 56, it's like 3 feet long(compared to 4 feet for 55's) but 20 inches if not more wide(compared to 13 for 55's). My GT loves his spacious room.Oh and to the OP, since I work at petsmart I get my %15 off. So that will be %35 of all tanks and kits for me.
Got to love the business discounts when you work in a large business. Thinking of getting a 20gal for the GF's kissing gourami's. Who knows, lasts till the 28 If i do believe so have plenty of time.
