Brackish? some sites say yes, others say no.
( mine is in fresh, doing fine for about 5 months i think i have had it for?)

- dont keep fish under about 4 inchs they will try to eat it -

3 predators in a 40 to 50 gallon? Fast growers or slow growers?

Slow gotta try atleast one grammodes in a 40 (better in atleast a 50). Very Mean and Aggressive.

isnt that a chichlid? or is it ok with other kinds of fish?

Yes grammodes are cichlids. Central American, Grammodes are also known as mini-Dovi, Sieve cichlid, and are somewhat rare. Mine was the first i saw and just had to have it.

I would not recommend with others as my juvenile almost took my Full Grown Rainbow cichlid's eye. I had to seperate. If anything keep an eye on it. Now i've seperated the rainbow to fully heal, while i put together my other tank. So far with my Severum, Convict, Leporinus, and a growing Carpinte it's doing fine. Not getting picked on not fighting nor any fin nipping. But i'm keeping an eye on any overt aggression and violence.

I've heard if you get other fairly aggressive to growout with it you may have a chance at a community.

what size tank would a single need? n what will they eat? tuffies and froxen foods?

um i was trying to steer away from chiclids because most of them dont have teeth. well ur probaly wondering why i want a fish with teeth. its because my stupid friend likes to play with fish but if it has teeth he wont go near it.....
