400 gallon tank... air powered sponge filters? WTF!!!!

It's a pond sponge filter. I bought a couple of cases of them from aquaticeco.com

Be forewarned, the price has gone up dramatically since I bought mine. I think they're running around $55/ea now.

No reason you cant filter any size tank with sponges.And by putting them in the sump he doesnt have to deal with all those big fish using them for tetherballs.
