400 gallons from down under!

Couple shots of some of the fish, and stock list:
5x Cichla monoculus
1x Tiger oscar
1x Common Pleco
1x Aussie Barramundi
6x Silver Dollars
Also have 4 more juvies (monos) growing out in a 150gal to go into this tank aswell
Future stock:
2x Motoro or leo rays
More cichla species if i can get them here from the land downunder!

Interesting looking build, and rather jealous that p-bass are available across the ditch but not here.....
Would be interested in seeing a few more pics of the sump, what is in the first chamber? Are those two little bags on the ends of the drains the extent of your mechanical filtration or is there something else in there? Kinda looks frothy in the pics! (or is it that K1 media stuff?)
How come you built the stand in two parts? Is it bolted together or just sitting there?

First chamber of sump is the K1 i have the socks on the end of the overflows just to catch bulky things (mainly un eaten food) and i check em every couple days or once a week if im lazy and clean em out i will get some more detailed pics of sump today, i have a 3ft light under there at moment and couple plants also growing in the sump.
The reason stand is in 2 parts, i still rent i dont own a house yet so reason 1: 2 part stand = easier to move etc. Reason 2 = if i decide to go 12ft ima just add on 1 more stand the same size or i can run single 4x3s if i decide to breed etc in future theres couple reasons behind it
Also the stand is suppose to be bolted together but i havent done it yet lol
Then thought id try it out for size before filling it up...... once was filling 1 hose was to slow i wanted this up and running asap!! get another hose!!
