400g glass tank

I'm looking into getting a real monster tank. I live in Hawaii and 400g glass tanks are not exactly popping up everywhere. I see a lot of people on the boards having them. Can anyone tell me where you can order one or are they homemade? How much would it cost to purchase one of these. Thanks for any help or responses.

I would say around $800 would be around the price they go for 12mm glass.Seeing as i paid £500 in the UK..

How much are you willing to spend? Shipping alone on my tank was $1200.00
For a tank that big, you should go with acrylic.

I could actually see myself spending quite a bit. Do you have a tank that big? How heavy is it? Can it fit through the screen door? I can get a pond, but I rather be able to look at my fish through a tank. I really dont care for acrylic that much.

If your not opposed to having a glass viewing area only and the rest plywood, you can save LOADS of $ by building one yourself.

it will cost closer to $2000 just for the glass and a crap load for shipping to hawaii... i think that a DIY one would be way cheaper for you unless you have the resources to buy one for that much.....
