They would be cichla food so fast it isn't funny and even if you get them at like 50 cents a peice that's a ton of money. Even if he didn't go with a thousand the cichla would eat them right away. I know. I tried.

I would suggest more cichla, or a snook.
 
chad, a tsn would prolly take over 5 years to even hit that size if it even did. im just a catfish fan now, so i thought i'd recommend an awesome cat for an awesome tank.

But no one said anything about upgrading. And to many 400g is as big as they want to go. IMO I wouldn't put a tsn in there either, but I also think rtc needs close to 2k gallons for the right home.
