thanks! i ended up selling all my fish and will be doing a massive downscale. i just got burned out on big tanks and big fish. ill be setting up a little high tech planted tank and taking it easy. i think planted tanks are my real passion, and go along nicely with my photography hobby :)

hmmmm.......but monsterplantkeepers just doesnt sound right. Well good luck with all that and selling the tanks. I'll be keeping one eye on it incase the opportunity pops up for me to get it.

lol yeah i know! most people here look down on planted tanks and smaller fish. but anybody can slap together a monster tank, throw some big fish in there, feed and do water changes. i like the challenge from planted tanks, especially the aquascaping part of it. not sure if you ever saw my old planted tank, i really miss it

A good planted tank looks awesome. I havent gotten into planted tanks for the same reason I havent gotten into saltwater yet - too much new stuff to buy and more chemistry an such that I dont feel like learning in addition to everything else going on in my life. Would eventually like to get involved with planted tanks and saltwater though. I think planted and saltwater tanks are more about aesthetics and monster tanks more about personality. Sorry to derail your sale thread.
