wow man you preach a lot. The odd thing is they werent smacking into the glass. They were in the 110 since they were 6 inches! Would you call the fact that the petstore contain 20 1-2 inch pacus in a 10 gallon tank cruel? Is that my fault for not doing research on too? Get real man. This happened 4-5 years ago, you act as though I was supposed to have done research? I did that the only thing the research didnt cover was how fast they grow, it just states fast. not faster than any other fish youve ever seen(which was the case. Go preach to someone else Im just telling my story with pacus from years ago, I dont need some know it all preaching to me when I already learned from experience.

Thats the thing about some of these forum goers, you go to tell a story of yours and they look for anything in any sentence you write to try and criticize you for it and act like they know more than you. I never said I did everything perfect but I never said I didnt learn anything in the process or wanted advice from some self proclaimed know it all, who for all i know actually know nothing like the rest of the ones who claim they know everything. Simple to talk and tell what should be done, things are easier said then done. "Build a pond for your fish" --yeah like in the middle of winter with snow on the ground or when its 30 degrees out Im gonna go grab a shovel and start digging. Like all the other pacus who were bought from the 10 gallon in the pet store ended up perfectly fine, all the other people had plenty of room and did a ton of research, all those fishs are still living today all because the pet store did a great job at explaining to everyone they grow over an inch every month.(or wait the pet stores dont say that.) Everyone just knows from all the great research available or just by common sense. I suppose some diseased gold fish or some other diseased fish in the wild wouldve made a safer meal than an occasional hotdog or piece of hamburger. (and try not to let your imagination run too loose this time they weren't from mcdonalds and they werent eating big macs every day.

Woah woah woah, let's not get carried away now. I think the reason you didn't say you never did everything perfect, was well. Because you didn't really do anything good for your fish. Dude. I knew more about fish than you did when I was 7 for ****s sake. Research isn't that hard and only takes like 15 minutes to get the basics on a fish.
And Justonemoretank DOES know more than you about fish and probably a lot more things judging by your selfless attutude. You obviously didn't "love" your fish as you so bluntly stated.
What did you think these fish ate in the wild? You think they go up to the swim through and go "WHOPPER!" "SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH!" No, they don't eat cows either.
Building a pond for your fish isn't like you think. Pacu are tropical fish which obviously can't be kept out side for more than summer time. A pond can be indoors too. It's this hella easy thing called research that would have told you that. OH WAIT A SECOND! You forgoed that a long time ago.

I'll make it simple for you ok. I bought pacus when they were young. They grew very fast and ate anything. They were more aggressive than I expected them to be. Most people say they are vegetarians but they are not. My pacus grew big for my 110 gallong tank. I tried to get rid of them no one wanted them. Try to understand that in an adult way without using your little boy imagination to stir things up and instigate b.s. later
