LFS: Exotic Aquatic's is good. Probably most of the others listed in that thread as well. Don't waste time driving up to Aquarium Depot if it's listed or you consider it though that store has went to hell.


DC: For sure hit up the Smithsonian if you can. Also might try to hit one of the zoo's(baltimore or DC)
