I just received my confirmation order in an email from them. So I should be getting a replacement in the next few days. Hopefully this one wont have any problems. The customer service is top notch there!
 
We have run them out! They are backordered! I just ordered a third.
 
Well then I must have got my order in just in time :) Got my two today $10 shipping for that big of a box is a deal
 
So I got mine in today from Dr Foster and Smith. First off OMG it almost didn't fit in my tank. Put it on a 56 tall (36 long instead of 48) and it would not fit between the lip on the inside of the tank and the brace I had to do some quick and easy mods to make it work. But mine did have a couple chipped pieces. No big deal for me though as was 33 dollars so I ain't complaining and they are not where it will cause a leak. just glue for me. The AC 50 was in perfect condition however. For 55 bucks for both I am happier than I was with the whispers that are still on while the AC cycles in.

Take a chunk of media from Wispers and seed the AC's
 
I had the same problem with the lip on my 90 gallon being to wide for the ac110. Wasn't too hard to fix though.
 
do they go over the lip of the tank or under the tank with hoses that go up to the tank?I think you are all talking about aquaclear over the back lip of tank type filters correct?

Aquaclear filters are hang on back filters (HOB), they are not canisters.
