Shoot that is alot of feeders hahaha. I know them cats would take out every fish- when the lights go out.

LOL...154 feeders in under a minute. And yes the bigger cats are in seperate tanks

Sigh.....I must ponder on this.......... have to figure out what to do with the fish as well during the process.

When I was removing sand from much smaller tank, I just took the gravel vac and started sucking up all the sand with that. It sucks up the sand and does not stir too much. Had to refill the tank a few times and finish later... was a huge pain in the ass.

once the cichla there pack on some size there is a few surprises ready to go in...keep in mind I have many other tanks with plenty of "bad ass cats"....those who know me know what I have but that tank is mainly for those young cichla ....as two of those lil bass...can buy a very big tank for what they are worth..lol I know peacock and a few others can pick them out. But yes...there will be a couple special cats going in in a few months.
