47 gallon tall... Will it work?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The fish in my avatar is a HRP, theyre cool. Angels are a good idea cause they are tall, so won't make it look as empty.
you could have a heavily planted dwarf cichlid community with other fish, loaches, red tail shark, barbs/tetras. make a really interesting tank with a lot of movement. gourami's are also good for tall tanks.
If you want some surface movement I recomend golden wonder Panchax's

Cool tank, untfortunately you'd have more stocking options with a 29g. I think a pair of angels would be your best bet.

I do like rams a lot, was planning on a group of them either way, I didn't even think of gouramis! Good ideas all around. Will do some looking into mid and upper tank dwellers

The tank was a gift, so I can't not use it, lol, its just hard to stock.

We are getting two smaller tanks, 10 & 20 as well. My gf is getting out of hobby to focus on her angel veil blue rams, so she gave him an awesome deal on all three complete set ups.
