48 1/8" X 13 1/8" X 25 3/8" tank - Is this European or a U.S. D/C'd or what?

I just got done resealing what measures out to be about a 70g, but it's not quite (69.5??)......it there a 260L or 265L in European builds this could be? I never saw this odd size before and I got it from a pawn shop 7-8 years ago so IDK it's origins, but I figured maybe it came from overseas??? Also, strangely enough, the glass is 7/16" thick

I doubt a manufacturer making a mass of these tanks would use such odd dimensions. Maybe it was a homebuild by someone who'd had a few too many tinnies the night before!

with manufactured Oak borders??? They made those plastic borders w/ Oak pattern for a reason......I doubt this random guy did it lol IDK who....the label is long worn off, I have no idea what company made this tank

Snake tops for 55g do NOT fit this tank, BTW. I have a special one that's slightly bigger......the REAL KICKER is ....





.......it came from some place totally DIFFERENT than the tank and YEARS in between!!!

The tank is handbuilt but it is a commercially built one

any more info would be great....what company made it?, where? and what do you mean it is "handbuilt but also commercially built"?......like it was done by a talented builder before assembly line and thhen put into mass production or LIMITED production or what?
 
They are handbuilt on for the trade on quite a scale, I think its daro. Ill check next time I go to the lfs cause I pulled the sticker off

Sorry, I can't help you dude, especially not without metric measurements. I've had my siblings all weekend, IT'S ONLY SATURDAY and I'm soooo pooped! Googling conversion rates is just to much right now.. :/
