48 Gal stocking suggestions?

I have a 48 gal (36"x18"x16")
It is fully cycled some fish in there now (hoplo cat, farlowella cat and a couple corys)...they can be moved to other tank they are just in there for now.
I like the look of a few couple large cichlids and was wondering what would work in there...i'm up for any suggestions...but one thing I would like to have is some kind of poly...was thinking maybe a del, so i'm hoping for a not tooo aggressive cichlid.

One thing I guess I should add is i'm not a huge fan of those head humps that some cichlids get...thought i'd throw that out there

According to your dimensions, it sounds like you have a 40g Breeder. How about a nice 3"-4" green terror? Those are nice to have.

I put the dimensions into the conversion and its 48...got it as a 50...the guy had a metal stand with 2 65's and the bottom one was too hard to get into so he cut is down shorter.

I'd say either some Geophagus or some German blue rams.

and from what I have read they would get along ok with a poly...right?

Even though I like the GT it would probably have to be alone correct?
