If you hadn't sold yours then maybe I wouldn't need this one. :D Get in line Craig.
You better hurry up House it looks like a very nice tank even has me thinken bout it:naughty:

Here are pics. Sorry for the delay, at work. The seams are all tight. Acrylic is 5/8 or 1/2 inch. At work and cant measure. Test filled and no leaks and no need for buffing unless your a perfectionist like me. I was going to run a quick buff on the outside, but definetally nothing major. Overflow is plumbed on rear left side and there is plenty of room for a closed, open and emergency to be added.

I'de be picking it up if it were 3/4". 1/2" seems to be a little thin for a 32" tall tank?

Yeah, it isnt the standard from tank builders but they do make them. But they build for a "show" look. These are some corespondence Ive had with a few.

*Talked to a tank builder and he said the size either .5 or 5.8 will hold the water its just if you willing to put up with the bow. That's why you typically see 3/4. But they are typically 3 feet tall so you gain a little here. bows about .5 to 1 inch. I wouldn't call this a "show" tank other than its condition is good. Its just a tank. that's why its priced right. I didn't mind the bow that much I just need somthing deeper. I was gonna set it up. This week on vacation and the gf started talking about rays. Go figure.

*I was told the maker was seaclear but not to sure and wont. I've only had it for a week and was at work for the last 4. I was concerned about the bowing myself being I only run glass. Talked with tenacor, wetwebmedia, and tyd and all said the same. They basiclly said all acrylic bows because it absorbs water. The thickness just makes it bow less. The chemical bond between the panels is what makes the difference. All said they run 3/4 for this (bowing) but said being at .5 is exceptable. Wasn't about to put 500 gallons of water in my livingroom without some investigating. I have a buddy that's had fish for 15 years with a 525 mixed reef I talked to and he came over a looked at it full and said he would run it and that his 4foot tall 1.5 inch tank bowed. That was good enough for me. Don't take my word for it though. Call a local builder. Also goggled how these are built. Not trying to sell it to ya. Just what I've learned. So, If your an aquarist that just wants a big ass tank don't care about the "look" (.5 bow) then its solid. If the bow is gonna drive you nuts don't get it. I feel confident in it.
