I understand. When I first got this I wanted corner overflows too, but after owning the center overflow I really liked it. Especially when keeping multiple aggressive fish together they tend to fight less. The over flow blocks their line of sight to each other and they each control their own section of tank

plus I would be using it as a room divider so really looking for a unobstructed view through the tank, that was my only issue
