I'd go 30. Even thought they are bottom dwellers mine love swimming up the sides and making bubbles. With 24" discs and over 30" long it wouldn't be possible for them to "play" like this once they put on some size.

I contemplated those exact dimensions and decided to go 30" tall and 1" thick. Glad I did, 30" high looks great and the extra few hundred bucks for 1" is worth the peace of mind.

Nope i ended up getting one from my regular tank maker here in michigan. Tyd didnt sound very professional when i called him... And he said they can only build 1 tank at a time... Was kinda weird

Nice - you already have it and set up? That was quick. Yeah - I looked around and he was lot less money even with shipping. And I think they've been in business since 1988?Haven' t heard anything from him in about 4 weeks- kinda makes me nervous.
