480g Brainstorms

Sink the drift wood with a large rock. It will speed up the water-logging process. The deeper the better. Like I said I do this every year in the deep end of my pool :)

I just checked last night. since the hot tub is so small, I had to stack on top of the other. The one on the bottom is waterlogged. So the one on the top (still floating) acted as a rock of sorts.

Egon-you ready for West Coast domination? Go Kings Go!

Ya I got some large rocks to pin the wood to the bottom of the tank at this point that's my plan.

I have always screwed mine into large slabs of black slate. This is helpful in monster tank keep your big guys from doing to much damage to your tanks appeal.

I visited the tank at the shop last week. it should be ready next week! After a boozy lunch with my wife, we decided to change stock. The inhabitants of our 350g are going into the 480g. Silver aro, 2 motoros, super red serverms, large frontosa, and a silly green catfish. We will be looking to add about 6-8 full grown vieja species, possibly my 2 large razorback musk turtles (if they don't bite the rays) and a giant blue-eyed pleco.
